Custom Conversions
Have you come to the end of a beautiful babywearing journey? Your beloved woven wraps are folded up gathering dust as your child becomes more and more independent on their own two feet. Perhaps you have sold some of your wraps on to carry other babies, but you can't seem to part with your favourites even though it makes you sad to see them sat there unused.
I have been there, and this is the reason I started Oak Wren Studio in 2017. Above you can see a very special wrap to me, Bebe Sachi Bayu. My husband bought it for my 30th birthday at Natural Mamas Big Camp, 2014. We had just found out we were expecting our second child and it was a magical weekend of making friends in the babywearing community. Now my Bayu is a cloak to wear until the end of eternity.
Whether they are full of memories or just too beautiful to part with, send them to me and I, presto chango, can convert them into and everyday item for your wardrobe. A cloak, with a hood and opening front. A cape, sans the hood but open in front, an all around shawl with a lovely drape that can jazz up any outfit. A poncho, the perfect extra layer for in the house or out.

Terms and Conditions -
Our Agreement - The Wrap must be sent to me in a freshly washed condition. If the wrap arrives to me unclean it will be returned to you. You order will be cancelled and the fee will be refunded minus the return postage and handling fee of £10.
My own Liability -It will be the understanding of both parties that any used wraps being sent to me have no monetary value, and I am not obliged to refund the cost of the fabric or wrap at either the retail price, or 'market value' should it go missing in transit. The only refund issued in the event of a lost item will be my own conversion fees.
How Custom orders work -All orders are classed as custom orders and are placed with the understanding of what the product will look like based on photos of similar items in my gallery. In the event that the customer is unhappy with the product I will not be obliged to offer any refund on my work taken, or the lost value (real or perceived) of the wrap or fabric. All orders processed are classed as 'custom' orders, and as such are not subject to a standard purchasing returns policy.
Lead Times -Please allow at least 4 weeks from the time your wrap or fabric arrives with us before the finished item is shipped back to you. If lead times are longer than this you will be advised when you can expect your item to be completed at the time of placing your order.
Customs duty - All wraps or fabric being sent to Oak Wren from outside the European Union should be valued at zero. If this is not done and the goods incur customs duty the item will be refused and returned to you.
Return Postage - The conversion fee includes 48 Tracked return delivery to the UK, if you require it to be returned first class or special delivery you will be charged the difference. For the rest of the world there will be £15 additional for return postage.
